CLUBMARK
The society had its first Clubmark review on the 6th April 2009 by Julian Taylor of the Angling Trust. The review went well with the society only needing to complete a few piece of missing documentation. We also need to send two of the committee members on a couple of courses, hopely we will obtain our Clubmark status by late autumn.
In order to obtain Clubmark status some chances were made to our constitution at this years AGM.
To see these changes go to home page and click on the policy button.

CATCH REPORTS FOR
JAN 2009
BARTON MILLS STRETCH
Plenty of roach and gudgeon but small pike a nuisance. Best baits to avoid gudgeon are hemp and breadpunch. Occasional double-figure pike about. Deadbaits best. Along river towards Mildenhall there are plenty of small chub to 1lb weight and some good perch from 1-11/2lbs on lobworm, with the odd better fish.
MILDENHALL
WHITE STONE STRETCH
Excellent for quality roach, dace and small chub, with a few chub up to 3lb. Red maggot and bread best baits.
WORLINGTON TO WEST ROW
Good for specimen chub. Fish to over 5lb reported recently. A roving approach is required using legered bread or cheese. STRONG TACKLE NEEDED
Please send us your catch reports. If you’ve caught a big fish or a good catch from the Society’s waters, please let us know. Similarly, if you’re struggling to catch fish, drop us a line and we can help with advice on swims, rigs and baits.
Send you reports and comments to Richard West or Rodger Pigerham. Email address on last page.
